Laura Linney

Laura Leggett Linney (born February 5 1964) is an American actress from America. She has won several awards like 4 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. Linney first made her Broadway debut in 1990. After going on to receive Tony Award nominations for the 2002 revival of The Crucible, the original Broadway productions of Sight Unseen (2004), Time Stands Still (2010), My Name Is Lucy Barton (2020) as well as the return in 2017 of The Little Foxes. The year 2001 saw Linney win an initial Emmy Award she ever received for her television film Wild Iris. Other wins followed for sitcom Frasier from 2003-2004 and for short-form series John Adams in 2008. In 2010, she starred until 2013 on Showtime's The Big C. This show won her an Emmy Award in 2013.
