Maria Bartiromo has been praised for her performance as an American television journalist. Her television shows are well-known and she was the first television journalist to report live on the New York Stock Exchange. An experienced broadcaster who has more than 20 years experience of reporting on business and the economy, she played a key role in making CNBC grow into one of television's top channels for economics and business. Highly successful as a journalist, her career is proof that she was always meant to work in this area. Maria when she was young wasn't sure about the career path she wanted to pursue. She was then tempted to be an interior decorator. Journalism was too exciting for her not to take it seriously. In addition to being a brilliant journalist but she also serves as an inspiration for women who are looking for a job in a field that is which is predominantly male-dominated. The first woman to enter the Cable Hall of Fame, being named one of fifty Faces who Shaped Decade. She also is an author and columnist.
Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actor in film, TV and on stage since the latter part of 1970. An accomplished thespian, she has been performing professionally for her early teens for the past 27 years. Her stage debut was in 1990, when she performed an Off Broadway production of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. The Perfect Tribute. A one year later, her TV debut came in The Perfect Tribute. Her career established when she was offered to play a role in Basic Instinct. For The Firm, she played the role of lead female for the first time. The film was filmed with Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. In the 1990s Gwyneth worked alongside Hugh Grant on Mickey Blue Eyes as well as Julie Andrews for Relative Values. Recently she played Dr Alex Blake in the internationally popular police procedural crime drama Criminal Minds.
